Biography
Ms. Britt has been with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since 2009. She has a background in building energy, land use, transportation and a special interest in their relationship in the community.
For 7 years prior to joining PNNL, she was a partner in a nationally recognized building energy consulting firm where she was the lead author of the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project's Going Beyond Code: A Guide to Creating Energy Efficient and Sustainable Buildings in the Southwest, managed the energy code compliance analysis for the residential baseline studies in Nevada and Iowa, and a commercial baselines study in Indiana. She co-authored and coordinated the production of curricula for the states of Maryland and Texas, and co-authored the IECC Study Companions.
Michelle was formerly a project manager with a major west coast environmental consulting firm, and a planner with a regional council of governments. She has conducted technical energy and transportation studies and managed multidisciplinary environmental impact studies in several western states.
