Biography
Marc Ledbetter works out of PNNL's Portland office. He manages a program developing methods to speed the market introduction and acceptance of advanced energy-efficient technologies. He has 28 years of experience working in the field of energy and the environment, primarily on policies, programs, and technologies to improve energy efficiency. His recent areas of research and program management include market transformation, technology commercialization, efficient lighting equipment, and demand-side utility resources. Most recently, his work has focused on the challenges of adapting solid-state lighting (SSL) to the general illumination market. Prior to joining PNNL in 1993, he was Deputy Director of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy in Washington, D.C.
