Biography
Bruce has been at the Lab since 1986. He spent 19 years in the Washington, D.C. office, during which time he managed a Buildings Energy Technology Assessment program and the Hydrogen Safety program. Bruce has also assisted in a variety of energy and environmental analyses at the request of DOE headquarters in response to questions or studies mandated by Congress. He has also made numerous substantive contributions to various DOE programmatic documents such as multi-year program plans, program descriptions, web pages, and others. He was a U.S. representative to the International Energy Agency Hydrogen Safety Task 19 Agreement while managing the Hydrogen Safety program. Bruce is now located in the Portland, Oregon office and is currently providing technical support and managing a Technology Demonstration for the Solid State Lighting Program for the Office of Buildings Technology.
