Biography

Mike Warwick has been with PNNL for 17 years. Prior to joining PNNL, he worked in the utility industry as a manager for resource planning, load forecasting, and conservation program planning and evaluation and as a consultant in these areas as well as utility operations and management auditing. He has a total of 30 years of experience in the utility industry and is especially valued for his insights into interactions between competitive markets and utility operations, including interactions among loads, resources, energy infrastructure, and utility operating and regulatory requirements. He recently completed a DOD assessment of renewable resource development, procurement, and energy security and is currently assisting DOD to implement recommendations from the assessment. Mike's other clients include DOE, individual military services and other federal agencies, state regulatory commissions, and utilities. Mike graduated with a BS in 1971 and MS in 1976 in resource economics from Oregon State University.
